PREREQUISITIONS

RIGGERS

 

This workshop includes advanced suspensions, and therefore all basics as gotes, suspensionlines, line management, position handling, nerve knowledge / management is highly expected to be grounded for the rigger. These topics will not be taught at this workshop.

– Be able to tie a solid tradtional Gote, preferably a Naka style 2 rope Gote.
– Be experienced and confident with tying various suspensions and body handling with your rope model.

 

ROPE MODELS
– Must be comfortable in a traditional gote with hands on the back.
– Must be experienced and confident being tied in various suspensions.
– Must be body aware in ropes.
– Have knowledge of nerves / management

 

TICKET POLICY
People who has NOT attended a workshop with Akira Naka before and meet the prerequisitions (regardless of year, venue and country) will be prioritzed for this workshop. Any remaining tickets will go to people who have taken prior workshop with Naka, so if you have attended before, you are still welcome to apply. If you don’t get a ticket, you will get added to the list of interested. You are also welcome to apply for the one-day event on the Friday, where there is no prioritizing concerning participation on Nakas workshops or not. 

To buy a ticket both rigger and rope model, must meet the prerequisitions for the workshop. Please notice and confirm in the application that you will agree to the following:
– You buy the ticket as the Rigger for the weekend in your own full name + nick-name and name of your rope model.

– You must confirm whether you have been to a workshop with Akira Naka or not.
– You accept and respect the prerequisitions and conditions of the workshop for you and your rope model.

– In case you won’t be able to make it for the workshop, and need to cancel, you will follow this procedure:

Before Oct 1, 2023: You will get full refund.

After Oct 1, 2023: You will contact Tanja about your cancellation asap, and Tanja will (try to) resell your ticket. If sold, your ticket will be fully refunded. You must accept, that you cannot sell the ticket on your own, as there will be list of interested. If you have interested byers, they are welcome to contact us. 

TICKETS WILL BE RELEASED BY THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE
To apply for a spot, you must fill out our application form on kinbakulounge.dk, between July 1 at 12:00. and July 2 at 16:00. We will distribute all tickets same night on the July 2. Any applications received before July 1 by 12:00, will not be considered valid.

– If we don’t know you, please present yourself.

– We will send you a reply whether you get a spot or not.

If you get a spot, you’ll get your code to buy the ticket. If you don’t get a spot, you will get added to the list of interested.

1 ticket for this workshop covers 1 couple.

Please notice: Tickets for the Friday event 責め縄緊縛研究会 – Semenawa Kinbaku Kenkyûkai / Group of research on the semenawa in kinbaku is NOT included in this workshop and will be sold separately per person (In case you want to sign up your rope model please write it in the message box in the application form). The Friday event is separate and you can participate regardless of previous workshop participation.
